Re-Made for a Purpose is a unique resale boutique located in Fulton’s Brick District that sells quality items and upcycled creations. The shop has become known for its quality creations and its distinctive, welcoming environment.
Our Beliefs
It is the belief of the co-founders that God created each person for a purpose. Thus, Re-Made for a Purpose strives to utilize each individual's unique gifts through purposeful, respectful, and gainful employment opportunities in an innovative, safe atmosphere that honors the integrity of each employee.
First Choice; Not Last Resort
As a premiere place of employment, Re-Made for a Purpose provides gainful employment to adults with disabilities with wages being no less than minimum wage.
The adults with disabilities have purposeful employment by being the principal employees and decision makers. For example, the adults with disabilities sort the donations to determine what is appropriate to sell, price the items, and put merchandise on display. Items not meeting the standard of quality for Re-Made for a Purpose are either regifted to another charitable organization in Callaway County, or they are prepared for upcycling. Besides the donated items that are upcycled, the adults also create gift items or household decor such as signs and wreaths.
